Lapu-lapu Has Arrived in Mobile Legends

Mobile Legends is becoming more and more popular each day most especially to Filipinos. And as a tribute to hundreds of thousands of Mobile Legends players in the Philippines, they have released a new playable hero: Lapu-lapu.

Lapu-lapu is based on the Philippines national hero of the same name who is dubbed as the first Filipino hero. He is a chieftain of Homonhon, an island south of the Philippines. He protected his island from invasion of Spaniards by fighting alongside his army of warriors, using his skills in sword-fight and hand-to-hand combat.

Ask any Filipino and they surely know who Lapu-lapu is. There is also a city in the Philippines named after him, so his name is a staple among Filipino gamers and non-gamers alike.

In-game, Lapu-lapu's role is fighter/assassin and the character specializes in charge skills and burst damage. Basing on his default skin, the character surely looks fierce and strong. You can get the character for 32,000 battle points 599 diamonds (419 diamonds for 1st week only). He also as two states, the light twin blade state and the default heavy sword state.

As a fighter/assassin, his skills are really worth the battle points. Here are Lapu-lapu's skills for your reference:

Lapu-Lapu receives a layer of Bravery Blessing every time his skill hits an enemy hero. When it reaches 5 layers, his next basic attack will cause extra damage (this basic attack wont be a critical hit) and it will give him a shield that can offer 500-1200 HP of resistance (grows with level).
