Epik Studios is bringing an Epik Universe of Pinoy Superheroes

 

Epik Studios Epik Universe is shaping up great with the addition of its newest heroine, The Sea Siren, Osyana. She will fight alongside Pedro Penduko, Bernardo Carpio & Habagat in a team of Philippines most ambitious Superhero Universe to date.

  

It's been revealed that a movie will be made based from The Pedro Penduko: The Legend Begins Komiks to kickstart an #EpikUniverse of Pinoy Superheroes! He will be portrayed by James Reid. YES, JAMES EFFING REID LANG NAMAN. Pedro's latest reincarnation is about an Amboy who moves back to the Philippines after the mysterious death of his adoptive father. He embarks on a series of quests to find a cure to the curse inflicted by the ruler of Eastern Kasamaan and will be revealed that his adoptive father's death was part of the many mysterious events that's been happening to him lately.

Next in line in the #EpikUniverse of Pinoy Superheroes is Bernardo Carpio. There is a legend about a giant who can conjure earthquakes, and that he was cursed to keep two great rocks from falling. But there is one story where it was believed that he was cursed by Bathala as a punishment. Who do you think should be cast as the legendary strongman?

 

It was recently revealed that the newest heroine in the lineup is The Sea Siren, Osyana. In the previews, she can be seen wielding a harpoon and staying underwater a for a very, very long time. She is also sexy and charismatic, just like how a sea siren should be. In Epik Studios' latest reveal, she can now be seen with a costume that looks very organic and with a touch of underwater elements. I could definitely see Yassi Pressman as The Sea Siren Osyana! I have high hopes that they choose her to take on the role. It's interesting to see Epik Studios take on an Aquaman-esque movie in the #EpikUniverse.

 

One of the two unrevealed superhero and super heroine lineup is none other than the popular Diwata of Filipino myth, Maria Makiling. Next in the storyboards is Habagat, which is described as a winged creature of peace and justice. Now, we all know that the GODINE herself, Nadine Lustre will play Maria Makiling in the #EpikUniverse but there are a few details as to how her powers really work and how she looks like in costume. Her cameo in Pedro Penduko: The Legend Begins is quite hanging to be honest. I mean, yeah she has a lot of scenes but her character is shrouded in so much mystery. She is the superheroine that I'm looking forward to the most.
