You can't pour from an empty cup

 

Remember this: You can't pour from an empty cup. Ibig sabihin, bago mo alagaan ang ibang tao, unahin mo muna sarili mo. It may sound selfish but it isn't. Humans are not machines. We can't continuously give without taking something for ourselves.

So, ask yourself this: How full is your cup right now? Do you need to stop and fill up? What can you do to help fill your cup? Many people do not check on themselves and wonder if their cup is already empty. Malalaman na lang nila once they give so much and they break down because they don't have enough to give anymore.

Do it. Go check on yourself from time to time and make sure to "fill your cup."
