The Communications Olympiad Submission Deadline Extended to March 28, 2025
The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines and COMCO School of Communications’ The Communications Olympiad is extending the deadline for submissions of entries from March 14, 2025 to March 28, 2025.
IABC Philippines, the country chapter of the leading worldwide network of communication professionals, and COMCO School of Communications, the communication training and education arm of global award-winning communications group COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises, have decided to extend the deadline to encourage greater participation from local colleges and state universities. The extension provides aspiring participants from various regions across the country with the additional time to secure their submission requirements.
The Communications Olympiad aims to empower the next generation of communicators by providing them with transformative knowledge with real-world applications. The initiative envisions providing a learning journey with practical exercises through an Olympiad-level competition for the participants to advance their skills as the next communications professionals. The initiative will include a pilot class program, which is a series of webinars designed to explore the Best Practices in Communications, the Role of Communications in Environment Conservation, and Innovations in Communications.
The Communications Olympiad is open to all colleges and universities across the Philippines. Only one team can represent each school and should be composed of five members, guided by an adviser. The inaugural theme ‘Rewrite Climate Change’ will prepare and equip participants to leverage their communication skills to inform, educate, and inspire people and stakeholders to address concerns in environmental conservation.
Interested participants may submit their entries via communicationsolympiad@comcomundo.com by March 28, 2025. For more details, visit https://comcomundo.com/the-communications-olympiad/ or contact Cedrick Dalvin Alolor at 0995 550 5707.
