Payments, business deposits and access to working capital support businesses at different stages of growth

As businesses across Mindanao pursue new opportunities for growth, Maya Business highlighted how integrated digital financial services can help businesses accept payments, manage their money and access working capital at the 35th Mindanao Business Conference (MinBizCon) in Cagayan de Oro City.

The three-day conference brought together more than 800 business delegates, including chamber leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, trade partners, government agencies and development organizations from across Mindanao.

During the conference, Jaspher Casin, Head of MSME & Business Lending Sales at Maya, shared how Maya Business brings together omni-channel payment acceptance, business deposits and access to working capital to help businesses manage day-to-day operations and pursue opportunities for growth.

“Mindanao has a very diverse business community, from entrepreneurs building their businesses to established companies looking for their next opportunity to grow,” Casin said. “Their needs may be different, but getting paid efficiently, managing cash flow and having access to capital are fundamental to running a business. We want to make these tools easier to access and manage.”

The opportunity is particularly visible in Northern Mindanao, where the economy reached ₱1.095 trillion in 2025, growing 4.9% during the year. Wholesale and retail trade, one of the region’s major business sectors, expanded by 9.3%.

Maya Business offers different ways to accept payments across online and offline channels, alongside Maya Business Deposit, a fully digital deposit account; and working capital solutions such as Maya Flexi Loan for qualified MSMEs.

The broader Maya Business platform enables businesses to accept payments, manage deposits, access credit and use other tools that support their operations and growth. Maya Flexi Loan is an integrated revolving credit facility designed to provide businesses with working capital based on their activity and cash flow within the Maya ecosystem.

At the conference, Maya also showcased the new Maya Business app, designed for SMEs and micro businesses, and engaged delegates on its payment and other digital financial solutions.

Maya Business continues to expand its engagement with businesses across the country, helping enterprises use digital financial services to manage their operations and support their next stage of growth.
